3 Easy Steps: EasiYo Yogurt

Follow the 3 Easy Steps to guarantee perfect yogurt everytime.

Half-fill the yogurt jar with cold drinking water. Thoroughly mix in the contents of the yogurt sachet (add 2 to 4tbls sugar, if desired, to unsweetened sachets only).

Top up jar with more cold water.
Replace lid and shake thoroughly until all is dissolved.
Push the red baffle down inside the Yogurt Maker as far as it will go.

Pour boiling water into the Yogurt Maker to the top of the red baffle only.
(see A below)
Place yogurt jar inside the yogurt maker to sit upon the red baffle.
The boiling water will rise up around the base and sides of the jar.
(see B below)

Put lid on Yogurt Maker. Leave a minimum of 10-12 hours or overnight until set. Remove the yogurt jar and place it in refrigerator (4°C).

If you forget about it, and leave the jar inside the Yogurt Maker for longer, up to 24 hours, it will not
spoil the product at all. Just take the yogurt jar out and store it in the refrigerator (4°C).

Serve chilled with your choice of EasiYo Real Fruit Squirt Topping, or use as a wonderful low-fat alternative to milk, cream, sour cream or mayonnaise in all your favourite recipes.

 



Tips ...

  • It's important the cold water in the jar is clean drinking water ie. treated water supply, cold-boiled or bottled water.

  • In extremely hot climates use a little less (1cm) boiling water inside the Yogurt Maker.

  • In extremely cold climates, mix the powder with tepid (not hot) water.

  • Always clean the yogurt jar and lid thoroughly between use. Clean the Yogurt Maker with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.
