Jaffa Cake

Ingredients

  • 125 g softened butter
  • One half cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2tsp orange flavouring essence
  • One third cup chocolate ice cream topping
  • 1 cup EASIYO yogurt

Method

Cream butter and sugar. Add one egg at a time, and mix well.
Sift together flour, baking powder and baking soda.
Stir in vanilla and flavouring into yogurt.
(In a seperate container combine the orange essence, chocolate topping and yogurt)
Gently add flour and yogurt mix alternately to butter mixture.
Pour into 23 cm greased and floured cake tin.

Bake in preheated oven 180°C for 35-40 minutes.
When cool sprinkle with icing sugar or ice with yogurt icing.
