I’ve been enjoying Easiyo on a regular basis now for the past 4 years or so, and just love it. Getting a high amount of calcium every day is especially good too, as I am in my late fifties and need all I can get – calcium that is! You can’t beat the freshness and flavours of Easiyo. Thanks for the Great Product!
The photos are mainly of three of my grandchildren who were so happy to participate! I’ve tried to capture some of the rugged countryside in which we live. Paraburdoo is a small mining town with a population of about 1200, with people from all over the place working here. Iron ore is minded here, and then taken by train to the port of Dampier which is about 500kms away. The train is over 2kms long, and approximately 100 ton of ore is carried in each “car” (there are 220 of these). It takes 5 locomotives to run the train, 2 on the front, and 3 on the back, and it takes about 8 hours to reach its destination. Awesome eh? The mine runs 24 hours a day, and only shuts down on Christmas Day.

My husband works in the plant on a 6 days on 6 days off roster – how good is that? Although we are isolated here, it doesn’t feel that way at all, as we have everything we need, including a supermarket, chemist, newsagent, post office, shire office, library (which are all small but sufficient), a beaut hospital, and a hotel (of course). Sporting facilities are brilliant, and include soft ball, football, T ball and motorcross. We also play badminton at the local hall whenever we wish to, and we also play “bingo” once a month!
Everything is fun here and I suppose because we have to get out there and do things everyone seems to get along really well. The school is one of the best I’ve come across in many years of “gypsying” across the country, and all the kids are happy and healthy.
Just recently my best friend from NZ came over for a visit and she was just blown away by the place, and didn’t want to go home! We’re lucky that nearly all our family here I guess. One other son lives over in Queensland in Mackay, so we don’t get to see him very often, but we will most definitely be making that our next holiday destination! The rest of our families live over there in NZ, were we left back in 1985!

We are so in love with Easiyo Yogurt we just had to have it with us, even on our recent trip over and back over the Simpson Desert. This is one of the most remote parts of Australia. Of course, as well as carrying our Easiyo sachets, we had to carry all the water too (to save our precious drinking water, we carried bore water for the hot immersion part of making it).

I'd love a camera!! I could take photos of my guests eating the Greek Easiyo!!!
Thanks for the camera! We have been taking some shots in and around Napier…with Easiyo in evidence!
I run a vegetarian b&b from our home. One of the popular breakfast items, along with my home made preserves and bread, is the Greek Yogurt! Easiyo of course!! It is a HUGE hit! Very like the “real” thing (in Greece!)! I have had guests actually go and buy an Easiyo kit to take to their home countries, along with wonderful Hawke’s Bay Wines!!

I also make Fresh Fruit Smoothies (see recipe below). Our guests leave feeling “full of life!!” Easiyo tastes particularly scrummy with local Arakaki honey, which is also on the breakfast table. I often use Easiyo in recipes, one of our favourite is Summer Fruit Brulee, with Easiyo Greek yogurt used in place of cream, it’s a great tasting, healthier option. Actually I often substitute Greek yogurt for cream in recipes. Also is the Custard Mix available here, or soon to be? I noticed it in the Lakeland Catalogue (sent from the UK).
Thanks for such a great product, I use mine every day!
Fresh Fruit Smoothie 1 cup fruit (raspberries, strawberries, apricots, etc)
1 banana
1 cup Easiyo
1 cup orange juice
whiz up in blend and pour into 4 glasses for a healthy, delicious drink! (quite often add Spirulina powder too).
