Manufacturing Background
In August 2001 EasiYo Products Ltd opened it's new manufacturing plant at Albany, Auckland, New Zealand.
The objective was primarily to produce the existing popular EASIYO range of products of home-made yogurt, milk drinks and ice cream.
However, the specialized plant, which enables accurate blending of micro amounts of ingredients, has led to the development of other products such as: coffee creamer mixes, soft serve ice cream mixes, cheese cake mixes etc. and the possibility of producing other premixes.
These processes are carried out in Critical Hygiene areas on dedicated equipment in controlled conditions (temperature and humidity, and in filtered, cleaned atmosphere under positive pressure).
The premises are Registered and Audited by MAF New Zealand to comply within the strict NZ Dairy Industry Regulations.
Risk Management Programme (HACCP)
The approved Product Safety Programme includes: Environmental and Finished Product Micro Testing, a Pest Surveillance Programme and a HACCP Risk Management Programme.
Quality Assurance
Further to the laboratory micro-testing, of every batch of finished material, samples are made up of every blend to check the colour, taste and consistency.
Capacity
New Zealand produces forty percent of the world’s tradable milk powder and along with other Dairy Products has long been accepted to be among the best.
With this strong industry base, and the expertise EASIYO has developed over the last fourteen years the capacity to immediately increase production of quality products is assured
